US President Donald Trump has said the US military is ready to resume operations against Iran if no agreement is reached. He said the ceasefire period has been used to restock military equipment and prepare forces.
“We’re loaded up. We have so much ammo, so much of everything… we’ve used this to restock and they probably have done a little bit of restocking,” he said.
“We’re ready to go. The military is raring to go,” he added.
Meantime, US President Donald Trump has said he does not want to extend the ceasefire, which is due to expire on Wednesday.
“We don’t have that much time,” he said, warning that Iran must move quickly.
He added that Iran could “get themselves on very good footing if they make a deal”, and said Iranian officials have “no choice” but to negotiate. Source: Al Jazeera
