Chinese envoy shakes hand with Tarique Rahman
Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen has paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
The meeting took place on Monday at Tarique’s office in the Secretariat, according to his Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Ruman.
âThe ambassador congratulated him [Tarique] on assuming office following his landslide election victory,â he said.
Ruman added that discussions during the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest between the two countries.
